Tiny Leather Shoes and Shoe Sole

These items at Smith’s Tavern are a pair of tiny leather children's shoes and one shoe sole with visible wooden pegs.  They are an example of the types of shoes, and pieces of shoes, made by the cobblers of North Castle. Shoemaking was a major industry in the area.
